I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the students, parents, guardians, families and friends of Nelson High School, a vibrant secondary school located in the very heart of Vancouver, British Columbia.

This is an exciting time to be a student in this province. The curriculum is undergoing a major overhaul – moving away from a one-size-fits-all model, and toward a new model that supports personalization and flexibility of learning. Nelson High School is embracing these changes. Students at the school benefit from small class sizes, and an education program carefully designed with international and culturally diverse students in mind.

Nelson High School aims to provide the best educational experience to its students. We uphold high standards of learning and behaviour and strive to develop critical thinkers prepared to compete with students across the globe.
